A fantasy that I've had since childhood
As a teenager, inspired by the movie "The Cat Returns," the shop owner developed an inexplicable fondness for cats. He dreamed of one day owning a cat like "The Baron" to keep him company. However, this was just a fantasy, a dream. Owning a cat means taking responsibility for a life; one must think carefully before acting.
Change of mindset, change of attitude
After working for several years after graduation, the shop owner, initially a "newcomer" to society, experienced the coldness and warmth of workplace relationships, gradually becoming numb and directionless, becoming a cog in the machine of society, accustomed to going to and from work every day with only an empty shell. Finally, the shop owner decided to leave the workforce for a break, to reflect on life and contemplate its meaning.
Searching. For the meaning of life.
By chance, the shop owner came into contact with stray cat activities, realized the weight of life, and rekindled his childhood dream of raising cats. So he and his friends made a decision to create a space where cats could accompany them, hoping to bring some respite to busy city dwellers.
Thus, Nekoscube was born.
The birth of a cat can also bring about a rebirth.
The cats at Nekoscube share a special bond with their owner. The owner witnessed their birth and even rescued them from the brink of death in a warehouse. The cats' resilience has given the owner a unique perspective on life; the meaning of life depends on how you look at it. Just as the owner believes, all cats in the world are good cats.
